The Lighthouse Club branch Pattaya started few years ago around 2007.
Initially the network functions of this branch rotated between few of the leading Irish bars in town: Shenanigans (Jomtien and the Avenue Shopping Center) and Jameson’s The Irish Pub at Nova Park.
The monthly gatherings focused on property-industry professionals and were quite successful at glance.
However after a certain while the meet-up’s became a routine and at the same time the committee members got strangled in obligations elsewhere.
Decided was to interest few new committee members to join and throw in some fresh ideas and efforts.
The new committee was formed mid-2010 and few actions were taken towards a different selection of venues and a much more active marketing approach.
This resulted quite effectively in corporate network gatherings with an almost ideal mix of business professionals active on the Eastern Seaboard with a growing interest of Bangkok based business owners.
Most of the LHC meetings at present attract an approximate number of 200-plus guests.
What a great incentive for charity!
